NEAS STAFF PROFILE

Dr. S. Kamal Ud Din, National Coordinator (NC)

NC has the overall responsibility for planning (financial, human resources, institutional/ individual work-plans, training etc), coordination, supervision, implementation and reporting/dissemination of all NEAS activities at the Federal level and in the Provinces and Areas.


 Deputy Director (DD) NEAS (Vacant)

Assist in the execution of the responsibilities of the NPC, looks after all administrative and financial affairs of NEAS and coordinates between various departments of the Federal Government and the Provincial/Area Governments.


Mr. Abdullah Manzoor, Accounts and Administration Officer (AAO)

AAO has the responsibility to look after the administrative as well as financial affairs of the NEAS; to coordinate with the provincial/area governments for monitoring/settlement of financial matters with them; to keep the overall record of funds, process the procurement of materials, equipment furniture, stationery, etc; and to maintain the stock register, disbursement of amounts, to handle the audit of the expenditure with the AGPR & all other relevant organizations.


Psychometrician (PMT) (Vacant)

PMT's responsibility is collaborating with TDS and SSs in determining the psychometric requirements of assessment instruments, the needed format for efficient data-analysis, knowledge and application of available software for data-analysis and for generating reports. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Mr. Suhail Bin Aziz, Test Development Specialist (TDS)

TDS has the responsibility for planning, coordinating, supervising, implementing and reporting all test development and administration activities, with assistance from PMT, SSs and ITS. Also to plan and provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Test Development Specialist (TDS) NEAS (Vacant)

TDS has the responsibility for planning, coordinating, supervising, implementing and reporting all test development and administration activities, with assistance from PMT, SSs and ITS. Also to plan and provide input to in-house/in-country training.

Mr. Muhammad Shakeel, Subject Specialist (SS) Urdu

SS Urdu has the responsibility for getting test items/questionnaires developed, reviewed, edited in collaboration with TDS, PMT and teams of subject teachers. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Ms. Shabana Naz, Subject Specialist (SS) Science

SS Science has the responsibility for getting test items/questionnaires developed, reviewed, edited in collaboration with TDS, PMT and teams of subject teachers. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Subject Specialist (SS) Social Studies

SS Social Studies has the responsibility for getting test items/questionnaires developed, reviewed, edited in collaboration with TDS, PMT and teams of subject teachers. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.


Mr. Zulfiqar Shah, Subject Specialist (SS) Mathematics

SS Mathematics has the responsibility for getting test items/questionnaires developed, reviewed, edited in collaboration with TDS, PMT and teams of subject teachers. Also to provide input to in-house/in-country training.



Test Administrator (TA) NEAS (Vacant)

TAd has the responsibility for coordination and administration of tests in institutions of ICT and participate in all activities of assessment leading to the development of test items, their analysis, scoring, reporting and dissemination.

 


 Information Technology Specialist (ITS) NEAS (Vacant)

ITS has the responsibility for all IT equipment, systems and software to make the IT unit user friendly and facilitate efficient use by NEAS staff. Knowledge and ability to use available and newly arriving software packages for test development, analysis and report generation would be needed. Would also be required to liaise with suppliers for repairs and maintenance to keep the IT system in good working order.

 


Mr. Affan Ummar, Office Secretary (OS) Admin

Responsibility to look after the NC/DD office affairs; look after the record of diary and dispatch; to keep the overall record of meetings, is responsible for greeting people in person at the office; he also greet people on the telephone; must be able to give correct information, take messages when needed, and transfer calls to the right people in the office. Deal with all sorts of correspondence. Compose and type many types of office correspondence; opens and sorts mail; also send mails; gathers and analyzes data; compile information from sources given into a well defined report works on a computer; needs to know the most up to date computer information. Prepares paperwork for filing; is responsible for creating a new filing system. Also responsible for keeping the filing system organized by sporting staff; is in charge of purchasing all the office materials that are used in the office with coordination of AAO. He will have to keep track of what office supplies are being used; order new office supplies when they are running out. Office Secretary also has to order new things when needed in the office; is the main person who uses the copier machine; responsible for making the copies of paperwork in the office; are also usually in charge of the fax machine. They send out faxes and keep track of faxes that are sent into the office. Then they distribute the faxes to whoever the faxes were sent to. A good secretary needs to know how to work both a copy and a fax machine; is also responsible for office orders approved by the competent authority.

 


Ms. Khalida Siddique, Office Secretary (OS) Academic
