National Achievemtn Test (NAT) - 2021
National Education Assessment System (NEAS), Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) organized a 03 day National Item Review Workshop for the validation and finalization of test item for National Achievement Test (NAT 2021) from 10 to 12 November, 2021 at National Education Assessment System (NEAS), Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) H-9, Islamabad. This activity is a joint activity of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with NEAS. The workshop was inaugurated by Joint Secretary MoFEPT, Mr. Jawad Akram (PAS), and experts across the country of different organizations participated in this National level workshop. Mr. Muhammad Shakeel, National Coordinator, NEAS, shed light on the significance of this workshop for the promotion of quality education in Pakistan. The assessment experts critically analyzed and eventually finalized all test items in respect of statistics of piloting reflection of student learning outcomes and cognitive domains for NAT – 2021. Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, Honorable MNA, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Mr. Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, Honorable MNA, Chairman Privileges committee visited National Education Assessment System (NEAS), H-9 Islamabad on 12th November, 2021. They discussed the learning achievements of the students in the sampled schools of the Province of Balochistan, West Punjab, and whole country. They appreciated the efforts of Mr. Muhammad Shakeel, National Coordinator NEAS and his team for organizing such a valuable workshop which will eventually help in provision of quality education across the country and will be helpful in upgradation of education system of Pakistan to International Assessment Standards.
